The Future

“To achieve great things, two things are needed:
a plan and not quite enough time.” Leonard Bernstein

So what does the future hold?

Well, while we will never be the London Symphony Orchestra, we want to continue to develop in our combined musicianship as an orchestra. Playing great music to the best of our ability and pushing forward each year.

We also want to ‘do our bit’ in promoting classical music in Cornwall’s busy cultural landscape, providing opportunities to people young and old to hearing beautiful and moving music played live.

We also understand how important music can be for players, providing an environment where people can develop, socialise and, above all, enjoy themselves.

Building links with other ensembles is also important – collaborating, learning and encouraging with others. And providing a variety of musical experiences and opportunities for those involved with us.
