This is the rescheduled concert that was cancelled on 7 December due to poor weather conditions (and trees down and power cuts!)

Our family-friendly concerts have become something of a tradition and are not to be missed!

These concerts provide the perfect introduction to classical music for budding young musicians, guiding them through all the sounds and emotions the orchestra can produce.

Audience participation will be the order of the day – as usual – with the huge fun of providing every member of the audience, including the babies, with things to hit… we mean bells, shakers, and blocks.

Dmitri Shostakovich – Waltz No.2 from the ‘Suite for Jazz Orchestra’
Ennio Morricone – ‘Gabriel’s Oboe’, main theme from the film ‘The Mission’
William Walton – String selection from ‘Henry V Suite’
Tielman Susato – A movement from ‘Suite for Brass’
Malcolm Arnold – ‘Palindrome’ movement from ‘Trevelyan Suite’
